Dato’ Ahmad Nasir bin Abdul Gani is a founder and principal consultant for DAN Training and Consultancy. He started his career as an enforcement officer at the Road Transport Department of Malaysia in 1983. His career growth in the department with various roles and positions till his retirement in April 2021 and establish his own consulting firm. He brings with him 38 years’ worth of experience, expertise and several leadership roles in the fields of road transport laws and enforcement

CAREER EXPERIENCES

1. Road Transport Department Head Office, Putrajaya
2011 – 2021 - Deputy Director of Enforcement Division.

He Played a vital role in planning and execution the enforcement policies and strategies. Among his major achievement was leading the implementation of Automatic Awareness Safety System (AWAS) and Vehicle Entry Permit System (VEP), to implement New Demerit Point System, set up the motorcycles enforcement unit and highway enforcement unit, collaboration with Ministry of Education to establish Kadet JPJ and drafted the need statement for use of High-Speed Weigh in Motion (HS-WIM) in enforcement.
